Cooking with Himalayan Salt.Tile

Always make sure the cooking tile is dry before use. Humidity inside the tile can cause cracking and/or breaking during heating. Heating the tile must be done incrementally as specified below.

Place the cooking tile on the grill and warm up at low temperature for 10 minutes. Bring to Medium heat for another 10 minutes. Keep on High for a final 10 minutes and cook directly on the BBQ

Stove Top

On a cooking pan, bring salt tile to a Low heat for 10 minutes. Bring temperature up to Medium for another 10 minutes, and on High for a final 10 minutes. Cook your food directly on the salt tile heating on the stovetop.

Chill down the salt tile in the freezer for 30 minutes. You can use the salt tile as a serving platter and season a salad or also a delicious salty-sweet dessert!

**Not microwave safe**

After letting the salt tile air-cool to room temperature, simply rinse off the cooking surface with water. If staining occurs, simply use a standard mesh kitchen cloth of BBQ brush to scrub off. It is also possible to use vinegar on tougher stains as a cleaner.

Important! Do not use soap, detergent or all other abrasives to clean the tile. Not dishwasher safe. Himalayan salt has natural antibacterial properties.
